Common Preposition Errors to Avoid

Never say 'discuss about' or 'order for' - both 'discuss' and 'order' are transitive verbs taking direct objects.

Distinguish 'between' (two items) from 'among' (three or more items).

Remember: 'Despite' never takes 'of' (write 'Despite the rain' or 'In spite of the rain').

Use 'in' for years/months/cities, 'on' for days/dates/surfaces, and 'at' for precise clock times and specific spots.
