English Communication Classes for School-Going Kids
A structured, school-aligned English communication programme for children from Class 1 to Class 10. Built around how kids actually learn — through conversation, expression and confidence — not just grammar drills.
English Communication for Kids — Built Around School, Not Just Books
Most children in Delhi study English as a subject — but very few are able to speak it comfortably. They know the grammar rules, they pass the tests, but freeze when asked to introduce themselves, participate in class discussions, or speak to someone in English outside the textbook.
The Callens English for Kids programme is built to fix exactly that. We focus entirely on spoken English and real-world communication — how your child expresses ideas, tells stories, asks questions and holds conversations — in an environment that feels safe, encouraging and fun.
Classes run 3 days a week, online or at our Dwarka Mor centre, with batches divided by school level so every child is learning alongside peers at the same stage. Available in 6-month and 12-month plans — each building progressively on the last.
Senior Track: Class 6–10 (Ages 11–15)
Junior Track & Senior Track — Matched to Your Child’s Level
Children in Class 1 and children in Class 9 need completely different things from an English programme. We never mix them — every batch is age-matched so teaching pace, vocabulary and activities are always relevant.
Class 1 – 5 · Ages 6–10
Young learners need play, stories and warmth — not pressure. This track builds English through activities, picture talk, guided conversation and storytelling in a gentle, encouraging environment.
- Phonics, pronunciation & clear speech
- Everyday vocabulary in context
- Speaking in sentences — not single words
- Storytelling and show-and-tell
- Answering questions confidently
- Basic grammar through conversation
Class 6 – 10 · Ages 11–15
Older students need real fluency — the kind that helps in school presentations, debates, interviews, and everyday conversations with peers and adults. This track delivers structured, progressive communication training.
- Spoken fluency & sentence construction
- Formal vs informal English
- Expressing opinions clearly & confidently
- Group discussion & debate practice
- School presentation skills
- Interview and interaction readiness

What Parents See Change in Their Child
The real test isn’t in the classroom — it’s at home, at school and everywhere in between.
Teachers notice. Participation increases. English stops being the subject they dread and becomes the one they raise their hand in.
Meeting a family friend, talking to a teacher after class, ordering at a restaurant — English stops being something that requires courage.
The child who used to read off a paper with their head down now delivers their presentation looking at the audience. Stage confidence follows communication confidence.
When a child speaks English fluently, reading and writing follow. Communication confidence has a ripple effect across all English language skills.
Ready for the Stage? Meet the Young Speakers Program.
Once your child has built their English foundation through this course, the natural next step is the Callens Young Speakers Program — our 8-week intensive that takes communication-ready children and transforms them into confident public speakers.
Many of our English for Kids graduates join the Young Speakers program in the same year. The two programmes are designed to work together — this course builds the language, Young Speakers builds the performance.
- Stage confidence & public speaking
- Conquering stage fear & hesitation
- Live performance event for parents
- Ages 6–17 · 8 weeks · Max 12 students
