Present Simple

Use the present simple for routines, habits, facts, and regular events. Add s or es with he, she, and it.

Past Simple

Use the past simple for finished actions at a known or understood past time. Regular verbs take -ed and irregular verbs must be learned individually.

Future Simple

Use will for decisions, predictions, promises, and offers. Use going to for plans and intentions that have already been decided.

Questions and Negatives

Use do and does in the present and did in the past. After these auxiliaries, use the base form of the main verb.
