Starting a Phone Call
Telephone French is easier when you use a few reliable opening phrases. Speak clearly, introduce yourself, and state your reason for calling.
Checklist

- 4Je voudrais prendre un rendez-vous.
Asking for Clarification
If you cannot hear or understand, ask the other person to repeat or speak more slowly. These phrases keep the conversation polite and moving.

Ending the Conversation
Confirm the next step, thank the person, and close the call politely. Practise complete mini-dialogues rather than isolated phrases.
